Prevalence

This page provides prevalence estimates for individual diagnoses and for all diagnoses combined. More information on how prevalence is calculated is provided in our Methods

By default, prevalence is shown for all haematological cancers combined. Click ‘select none’ to clear the selection and click the coloured circles to select one or more diagnostic group(s). Groups can be collapsed by clicking the blue triangles and expanded by clicking the blue crosses. Small circles indicate a diagnostic group that is too rare to present individual statistics on. Check/uncheck the boxes below to include or exclude the premalignant conditions MGUS and MBL, or to select the diagnoses included in the traditional diagnostic classification. For accessible versions of graphs, please download the data tables using the links provided. Please note that image downloads for graphs are not currently working properly on mobile devices. We’re working on this and hope to have it fixed soon.

These are general statistics based on large groups of patients. They cannot be used to predict what will happen to an individual patient.
